Cashmere refers to the slender undercoat produced by the secondary hair follicles of goat skin. The fiber diameter is 13-18μm, which is equivalent to 80 fine wools. In the international wool spinning industry, cashmere is called “a pearl in natural fibers”, and the UK calls cashmere “the king of fibers”. Various scarves, caps, fleece sweaters (pants), gloves, shawls and other fabrics made of cashmere integrate the three precious qualities of lightness, warmth and soft touch. The famous “ring shawl” is woven from the finest cashmere. This shawl with a width of 1m can be pulled through the ring.
Since the 16th century, Kashmir cashmere has been popular in European palaces, followed by the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, which led to the dailyization of luxury goods and triggered multiple waves of clothing consumption.
